: "the qualities in a person or a thing that give pleasure to the senses or the mind"
Growing up brown skin has hardly been a walk in the park of beauty. My whole life I've questioned what it was to be beautiful. Was it actually being what society accepted as a standard? Was it subjective and only in the eyes of the beholder? So, I set out to search for what true beauty was. The answer I got was none of the above, and all of the above. I've come to learn that society does not get to settle on a standard of beauty. Because every single settlement will be met with resistance. Beauty, as hard as it may, can not be defined. As humans, we have to retrain our minds to see the beauty in EVERYONE. The individuality in EVERYONE. The CACHE´Appæl in EVERYONE.
